*3-5 Subject notebook
You will be required to create and maintain an interactive notebook. The instructional purpose for this is to cause students to "interact" with concepts and skills learned in class. The purpose of the notebook is to enable the students to become creative, independent thinkers and writers. Interactive notebooks will be used as an atlas and a place for class notes, keeping returned work as well as for other activities where the students will be asked to express their own ideas and process information presented in class. If needed, refer to this page and all required items will be posted.
Set up Instructions:
*Notes will be taken in Cornell Style: Please refer to the link below for a quick intro into Cornell Notes
Cover: Should be decorated with your name clearly written on the front cover, as well, as your class period. Decorate your notebook appropriately covering it with pictures of anything that represents you. Please keep it school appropriate!
1st Page: Parent letter should be glued in on first page of notebook.
2nd page: Directly behind your parent letter you should glue in your Notebook Guidelines handout
3rd page: Create a tab titles World Atlas. Please make sure you leave 10-15 pages blank so that you will have space to glue in your maps as the year goes by.
**After you skip 10-15 pages, you will crete a Tab Titled NOTES, The page after this you will be creating your first Title Page. Below is the list of all Title Pages for the year.***
